A TRADITIONAL all-male choir from South Africa is heading for the North-East.
The AngloGold Choir, will sing in Durham Cathedral on July 9. The 20-strong choir will form part of the annual traditional Durham Miner's Gala.
For the visit to Durham, a 30-minute performance is planned at 6pm, in the cathedral.
On July 10, a 30-minute appearance is planned for noon at Durham Racetrack, where thousands of festival-goers are expected to gather after the miner's marches through Durham.
