Hartlepool is backing a national campaign to look at the way we live.
The Caravan Gallery Architecture Week 2004 is taking place outside Hartlepool Art Gallery. Photographs of architecture and places in the town are on show.
Events during the week will champion and challenge the concepts people have of architecture, as well as showing the different ways in which architecture affects people's lives.
Arts Council England, North-East together with Northern Architecture, an independent body promoting architecture and the built environment in the North-East, have organised the events. To find out more, log on to www.architectureweek.org.uk or contact Northern Architecture on 0191-260 2191.
