A PUBLIC meeting is being held tonight to try to tackle problems on the Church Lane Estate, at Eston, near Middlesbrough.
The Church Lane Residents' Association, which was formed a year ago, has organised the meeting - the group's second, which they hope will be attended by local councillors and police representatives from the police.
Association chairman Mannie Cook said: "The problems on the estate affect the whole area of Eston. We seem to have been suffering quite a bit with outsiders coming on to the estate in the past year or so.
"We get people coming and playing football on the grass between our houses, scrambler motorbikes racing up and down the roads, and the latest problem is children as young as ten also racing along the roads on motorised scooters.
"I hope the meeting will be well attended by residents."
The meeting will be held at 6pm at Eston Labour Club, Fabian Road, Eston.
