A RADIO station is searching for undiscovered musicians to appear on Internet broadcasts.
Radio Hartlepool is keen to discover and promote up and coming talent from the town and surrounding areas.
Material collected will make up the play-list for a new Radio Hartlepool show, The Basement, dedicated to new music, presented by Matthew Turnbull.
Program director Chris Storey said: "We already feature a substantial amount of local music throughout our broadcasts but we want more. The lifeblood of this station is our listeners. We want them to be as involved as possible, after all it's their station."
The search is open to anyone but the material submitted must not feature bad language or remarks that can be deemed offensive.
Demo tapes or CDs should be submitted with a short covering letter by Friday, July 2, to The Basement, Radio Hartlepool, Broadcasting Suite, The Grand Hotel, Swainson Street, Hartlepool.
