CONSIDER yourself invited to a production of the classic musical Oliver!
Children of Park View Community School, in Chester-le-Street, have converted their theatre to look like Dickensian London.
An all-singing, all dancing cast of 60 Year 7 and 8 pupils from the North Lodge site will play the parts of Oliver Twist, Fagin, Bill Sykes and the Artful Dodger.
The show will feature all the songs from the 1968 film as well as a few extra.
Drama teacher and director Kristy Laurence said: "It is only slightly different as it is the play version but it has still got all the favourites."
The show is playing June 28, 29 and 30, at 7.30pm, at the school theatre on the Church Chare site. Tickets cost £4 adults and £3 children, and are available on the door but people are advised to get there early.
