BADGER Tanglefoot, White Bullet and Spitfire are some of the intriguingly named ales on offer at the annual Sedgefield beer festival.
The eleventh annual festival, organised by Sedgefield Community Association, is being held on Friday and Saturday, July 2 and 3, in Ceddesfeld Hall.
The festival won the Camra North-East Real Ale Club of the Year award in 2002 and last year.
This year's event will feature 14 brews from County Durham and North Yorkshire, as well as other parts of Britain.
An additional attraction will be live music on both evenings.
On Friday there will be folk, blues, cajun and quirky country performed by the Corner Boys.
On Saturday there will be jazz from Three of a Kind, featuring Steve Windross on tenor saxophone. To help the ale go down there will also be a barbecue on both evenings.
The festival runs from 8pm to 11pm on Friday, and from 3pm to 11pm on Saturday.
For more information about what the festival has to offer telephone Wendy Gill on (01740 620206) or Ray Barron on (01740 621166).
