Fears are growing for the safety of a teenager missing for more than a week.

James Brown, 15, has been in foster care in Jarrow, South Tyneside, for four years, but recently moved in with a new foster family in Benwell, Newcastle. He was last seen leaving his new home on Tuesday, June 15, at 10.30am. He is described as 5ft 5in, slim, with short, brown hair and freckles. He took a change of clothes with him, but was wearing a Pringle top, white T-shirt, black tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
