Leeholme lost their unbeaten record when the top two first division sides met. Victory gave leaders Spennymoor A an eight point lead though Leeholme do have a game in hand. Second division pacesetters Langley Park lost for the first time when they visited third in the table Wolsingham. Kelloe are second, nine points adrift of Langley Park with a game in hand.

Railway Athletic became the fifth team to lead the A Division this season with a 3-1 win at Barnard Castle. The previous week's leader Eric Ramsdale had a fine game not only gaining his rink point, but also playing a big part in the RA winning the long game. One point behind the leaders are four teams with Middleton St Geroge claiming second place by half a shot from Brinkburn Dene who are back in the running for the championship. With one point separating the top five teams it is anyone's guess who will top this league at the end of the season.

Nevilles Cross crashed down from the top spot when they only managed to collect one point from their trip to Addison Park, leaving Coxhoe to take over in pole position following their big home win over Belmont. The defeat meant that Nevilles Cross slipped down to fourth place.
Addison Park beat Nevilles Cross by 65 shots to 56.
