THE Preston Park Vintage Fire Engine rally will be held this weekend.
The two-day family event tomorrow and Sunday, organised by Stockton Borough Council and fire brigades from the North-East, will include stunt events and displays.
The aim of the weekend's action at the park, in Eaglescliffe, which starts at 11am tomorrow with a chip pan fire demonstration, is to raise fire safety awareness.
There will also be a simulated accident with a car cutting demonstration and other stunts connected with fire safety.
On show will be operational fire engines as well as vintage machines, including steam pump fire engines from the 1800s.
Vintage motorbikes, cars, buses and lorries will also be on display.
Fireman Sam and Blaze Bear will also be at the event.
Entrance is £2.50 for adults and £1.50 for children.
Money raised from the event in the past has gone to the air ambulance, hospital burns' units in the region and the Fire Service Benevolent Fund.
