The two Byers Green Under-10s have had great seasons and they were rewarded on Saturday night for their hard work and effort throughout the year. Peter Storey organised a fun-filled night that everyone enjoyed.
Lewis Wheatley picked up top honours on the night for the Bees team taking home player's player of the year, parent's player of the year and top scorer. The other individual awards on the Bees team went to Adam Mitchell for manager's player, Andrew Tonge for opposition manager's man of the match, Ben Thompson took the best attitude award and Clarke Rivers won most improved. The Haze team awards went to Adam Riley for players player, Elliot Hall took both parents player and managers player, James Sleep was top scorer, Shaun Harker took both opposition managers man of the match and best attitude and Russell Corker won most improved. Well done to both teams.
Both teams are now looking forward to the challenge of 11-a-side football in the Russell Foster Youth League next season.
