CHILDREN from across the Darlington area displayed their athletic prowess at one of the town's major sporting events.
The Darlington Primary Schools' Athletics Championships were staged at Eastbourne Sports Complex on Wednesday, with competitors battling it out in a range of events. Field events were completed last Friday.
Entrants were split into large and small schools' contests. The occasion was particularly memorable for Sadberge School, which was competing for the last time before closure.
