BROTHERS Graham and Mark Rowell called the tune as Ryton charged to an emphatic First Division win over Old Record Players.
Graham led the way with 54 while Mark was unbeaten on 30 as Ryton totalled 142-6 before restricting Old Record Players to 87-7.
Whickham Glebe continue to struggle at the foot of the table despite an impressive knock of 49 from Tony Ainley when they came up against West End.
The Glebe reached 108-5 but could not prevent the West End boys from charging to a five wickets win.
There was a close finish in Division Two as Monkseaton Saints 87-6 and then saw Stocksfield battle to 77-9 and at one stage looked on course for victory until their batting was torn to shreds by the John Hewitt who claimed 5-24 from his four over spell.
Despite a half century from Gunnion, Tyne Tees Television only managed 94-7 and went onto to lose by eight wickets against Adders 95-2 for whom Robin Humphrey hit 29.
An unbeaten fourth wicket partnership between Matthew Bewick (27) and Andrew Newton (20) steered Stocksfield to a seven wickets win over Coquet who made 85-7 Ian Todd hitting 32 not out and there were two wickets each for Anthony Allen and Derek Hawes.
Tariq Hussian's 45 steered Fenham to a match winning 105 all out against Travellers Rest 54 who only managed 54 with Riaz Mohammed snapping up 3-11.
Merz & McLellen were seven wickets winners over Fenham with Paul Mallibar 35 and Richrad Sanderson 34 the top scorers as they chased Fenham's 99-5 in which Tariq Hussian top scored with 53.
