Cleveland and North Yorkshire League: Oak Lodge completed their first half of the season unbeaten with a convincing 15 point victory over near rivals Urlay Nook.
Oak Lodge scored the highest score of the evening with a score of 186. Oak Lodge's Ian Hutchinson was top shot when he scored a perfect 25.
Stokesley moved up to second place with a comfortable 181 to 173 victory over Spennymoor. Adam Wallace was in perfect territory with a maximum.
All members who were at the Fox Hall vs Great Smeaton match were treated to a barbeque at the Fox Hall pub after shooting. The final score was Fox Hall 182 to Great Smeatons 175. Five members scored 24's, three for Fox Hall and two for Great Smeaton.
Hardwick Hall travelled to Marne this week, and this was the closest away result that Hardwick Hall have made all season to break their duck. They lost narrowly 143 to 137, where the sun had a great bearing on the final scores. The highest scores on the evening were only 21's. One from Marne Captain Tony Masters and Hardwick Hall's N Midgely.

* The Cleveland and North Yorkshire SCL were guests of the Derwent and District League last weekend. The occassion was the return leg of the Interleague Shield and Cleveland and North Yorkshire led by 183 clays after the first leg and hoped to seal the win over Derwent and District at Flask GC.
The day was attended by over 150 members from both leagues. The 50 bird course was held over six stands and the weather and wind were very changeable throughout the day. David Mahaffy and his team at Flask GC put on an excellent but testing layout. Congratulations must go to the winner of the day, Alan Menhennet with 42 out of 50. He was followed by Paul Dowson with 41, Alan Tart and M Coope 40. The leading Veterans were Deryck Dowson and Steve Midgely with 39. The leading Junior was Alex Gardiner with 30 and Jemma Wallace was the top shot for the ladies.
The final scores were Cleveland and North Yorkshire 880 to Derwent and Districts 809. This meant a lead on the day of 71, therefore an overall win by 254 birds. An excellent performance by over 200 members of the Cleveland & North Yorkshire league over the two legs ensured that quality as well as quantity shone through.
Result: Cleveland & North Yorkshire Scl 880, Derwent & District League 809. Cleveland & North Yorkshire won by 71 clays on the day and 254 over the two legs.
