Fosters Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League, Under-15s: Sacriston enjoyed a ten wicket victory when they hosted Shotley Bridge who they restricted to 72 including 34 by Donnelly with two sixes and four boundaries.

Star of the night was Sacriston's Ben Hall who, after taking six wickets for a meagre 19 runs in five overs, ended unbeaten on 30 out of a Sacriston total of 73 without loss. James Booth was also in outstanding form with the bat for Sacriston and he contributed an undefeated 35.

Annfield Plain were another side to win easily when they entertained Ryton who managed just 40 as Craig Johnson claimed five wickets for just eight runs in 2.3 overs. Annfield Plain conceded only one wicket and Graham Brinton finished undefeated on 24 with a couple of boundaries.

O'Sullivan top scored with 73 not out and Paul Greenwell added 52 to the Crookhall total of 143 for two at Lanchester who were restricted to 57 when man of the match Greenwell captured four for 17 runs in five overs.

Lintz defeated Whickham by eight wickets when they reduced the visitors to 57 and Greenside made only 65 for two replying to the Blaydon total of 118 for one. Michael Banks was in excellent form for Blaydon and he hit two sixes and ten fours in 81 not out while Colledge top performed with the bat for Greenside finishing undefeated on 28 with four fours.

Under-18s

Annfield Plain easily defeated Greenside after realising 119 for five which included 41 by Scott Harrison who hit a couple of sixes and six boundaries. Graeme Brinton had two fours in 20 while for Greenside Daniel Lintern took two for ten and Rob Bell two for 23 the pair each bowling five overs.

Responding, Greenside were all out for 62 as Naz Ahmed returned two for ten, Brinton three for five and Andy Philips two for ten.

Sacriston dismissed Chopwell for 58 when Martin Hubber captured four for five in four overs. Tilley (21 no) and Cox (24no) then led Sacriston to a ten wickets victory as the two batsmen both found the boundary line four times.

Shotley Bridge just edged Swalwell by five runs. Batting first, the Bridge posted 105 for three mainly as a result of the efforts of Rourke with 34 and Charlton (21). Warwick returned two for 34 for Swalwell who, batting second, managed only 100 for six leaving Shotley Bridge winners by a margin of five runs.

Rob Grand top scored with 27 for Swalwell and in the Bridge attack, Charlton took two wickets for 25 runs. After restricting Ryton to two for five Blaydon won by just two wickets but Burnopfield enjoyed a much more comfortable victory following a high scoring contest with Crookhall.

Marcus Peart maintained his outstanding form crashing two sixes and 15 fours in an unbeaten 103 which together with 46 by Lawrence Davey enabled Burnopfield to total 172 for two in just 20 overs.

Crookhall took up the challenge and Paul Greenwell was another batsman among the runs. He struck two sixes and 15 fours out of 90 but when Paul Forster took two for 37, Nick Young two for eight and Mark Turner two for 28, Crookhall were all out for 143 leaving Burnopfield winners by 29 runs.
