On June 4 Derbyshire Under-17s played host to Durham at Shipley Hall CC and the visitors lost the toss and were put into bat.
Durham scored 117 all out with Danielle Hazell scoring 44 and Faye Dale scoring 21. Derbyshire batted but only reached 37 runs all out. Danielle Hazell took 4 wickets for 5 runs in 4.1 overs and Laura Green took 3 wickets for 11 runs in 6 overs.
On June 16 Durham were at home to Lancashire at Philadelphia CC and this time Lancashire won the toss and elected to bat. Lancashire reached 75 all out with Danielle Hazell taking six wickets for 11 runs in five overs. Durham, batting second, reached the total of 75 with five wickets to spare. Danielle Hazell scored 38 not out and Katie Rickards scored 14 not out.
* Durham travel to Cheshire tomorrow for their third match and for their final match they play Yorkshire at home.
