Hunwick Club celebrated the league's first sponsorship deal with a good two points home win over Crook Mill House to keep them in equal third place.
The home side had two points from Dave Bennett and one each from Paul Maddison, Dave Rusby, Alan Brownless and Ian Richardson to add to the two doubles wins from Neville Blenkinsopp with Jamie Wragg and Neville Laws with Dave Rusby. The Mill had points from Bob Spence, Mark Nichol, Keith Hogarth, Dave Parvin, Graham Ward and Jason Askew.
Crook Travellers Rest B lead the First Division by two points from Crook Coach and Horses B, with Willington Market and Hunwick Club a further fourteen points adrift.
Despite winning by eight points, Crook Queen's Head B lost their sole right to the top spot in the Second Division, where they were joined by Crook Golden Fleece who won by 12 points. The Queen's beat the visiting Crook Jelly's Bar A with two points from John Ferens, Dave Heslop and Malcolm Gibson with Michael Storey, Alan Saville and Stephen Gibson adding one each before Ferens with Storey and Gibson with Saville added the doubles. Jelly's A's points came from two singles wins from Michael Jewitt and one from John Gibson.
Crook Golden Fleece and Crook Queen's Head B share the Second Division lead of six points from Crook White Swan B and Crook Spitfire Club.
