Willington Under-18s held their presentation evening at the Kensington Hall Hotel in Willington on Friday and manager Robert Lee said: "When I first started the team nine seasons ago I remember a club official saying we would be five-day wonders.
"Well, we have come a long way since then and it was a tremendous achievement to reach the county cup final last season and to finish runners-up in the Durham Lomax League.
"We are a very young side and a lot of the players will be available for next season when for the first time we will be competing in the FA Youth Cup.
"I'd also like to thank our sponsores, B and S Engineering."
Jamie Seymour was voted player of the year and players' player of the year. Christopher Hodgson won the top goalscorer award and Craig Alston and David Green shared the Sportsman of the Year award. The manager's award went to Dale Dunn.
