SPECIALISTS from the Netherlands and Sweden are in the North-East this weekend to help tackle problems of water quality, flooding and environmental quality.
The visitors will take part in workshops with organisations including the Environment Agency, at Redcar and Cleveland College in Redcar.
The events, which aim to produce plans to tackle problems with water quality, flooding and environmental quality, will include a site visit around Skinningrove, before a series of workshops and presentations.
Local people in and around the four river catchments are being encouraged to get involved with the project.
