Durham Coast League: Following their morale-boosting victory over neighbours and arch rivals Silksworth last weekend, Ryhope aim to keep the pressure on the leading pack when they line up against Dawdon.

A blow to the Wearsiders is the unavailability of professional Paul Watson, who has played a leading part lifting Ryhope to fourth position. His place is taken by Daniel Pearson.

Dawdon, enjoying their best season in years, are fifth.

Silksworth lost the leadership when they went down to Ryhope and could again find it tough going at Castle Eden, who have lost just once in ten outings. A boost for the home side is the availability of the Magee brothers, Gerard and Charlie.

Bill Quay, with Chris Pleasants back, go to Seaham Park minus Alan Rackstraw and David Brown, who are replaced by John Chamberlain and Chris Elliott.

Leaders Murton are the only unbeaten side and with five wins and as many draws enjoy a slender two-point lead over Silksworth.

They entertain Hylton, and Shaun Smith will play against his former club.

Smith, who started out with Philadelphia and played for them in the Foster's ECB North East Regional Premier League, has been in good form, but Murton's ace could well be Calvin Stephenson.

On his day he can destroy any attack and he is also a regular wicket-taker.

He was prominent throughout last season, leading Murton, unchanged today, to the title.

Hylton also rely on the side which figured in a double programme last weekend.

Boldon CA have Stephen Ellwood playing his first game of the season against unchanged Peterlee. Tony Middleton misses out.

Easington go to Houghton, who have Gary Robinson and Jon Grant lining up but university student Nick Rosti has returned to his home in Essex.

Michael Massey for Peter Booth is Easington's only change.
