A folk singer will perform an extra gig in his hectic schedule on Yorkshire Day to celebrate Redcar and Cleveland's move into Yorkshire.
Vin Garbutt, born in South Bank, will perform at Redcar's Coatham Memorial Hall on Yorkshire Day, Saturday, July 31, as part of a day-long concert.
The concert, titled Yorkshire Legends, runs from noon to 8pm and also features Judith Haswell and Martin and Faye Nesbitt.
Tickets are £10 and available from the council's three tourist information centres on Redcar seafront, Saltburn town centre and Gisborough Priory plus Redcar's central library.
The council's cabinet member for culture, leisure and tourism, Councillor Dave Fitzpatrick, said: "We are delighted to present these Yorkshire legends to celebrate our Yorkshire heritage.
"The concert offers great value for money and all the bar profits will go to help the hall's youth sports centre.
"We would be happy to welcome accoustic performers, too, on the library lawn and patio on the morning of the event."
