THE sound of rock legend Bruce Springsteen comes to Derwentside this weekend in the form of a tribute show.
Born To Run, the only regularly gigging Springsteen cover band in the country, will play at The Lamplight Arts Centre, Stanley, on Saturday at 8pm.
The band will perform Springsteen classics including Thunder Road, The River, Born In The USA, Glory Days, Two Hearts, This Hard Land, Streets Of Philadelphia, Dancing In The Dark, Brilliant Disguise, Badlands, Cadillac Ranch and Born To Run.
Fans will also hear songs from the critically acclaimed latest album The Rising.
Lead singer Mark Priestley said: "Bruce fans are always passionate about their music and are usually up singing and dancing to these marvellous songs.
"We are looking forward to playing at The Lamplight."
