A clown workshop and a tarot card reader are attractions promised at the GlaxoSmithKline annual sports and gala day this weekend.
It takes place on Saturday, from 12.30pm at the Manor House Field, next to the factory, in Barnard Castle.
Entertainment will also include a fairground with a surf board, a gladiator joust and an unclimbable ladder.
The GSK fire engine will also be on site, giving children a chance to sit in the cab and talk to firefighters.
Staff from the factory will be taking part in a Superstars-style competition, competing in a number of sporting activities to win up to £250 for a charity of their choice.
Helen Witham, chairman of the organising committee, said: "It's a real family and community event, with activities for everyone to enjoy. The focus is definitely on fun."
Proceeds from the day will be donated to Barnard Castle Guides, and the Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre, in Darlington.
A free shuttle bus will run to the sports field, operating at regular intervals from 12.15pm. It will pick up outside Addisons in Galgate, Barnard Castle.
Admission to the field is by programme, on sale at the gate for £1. Children and senior citizens go free.
