AUDIENCES will be able to savour a feast of music at a North-East beauty spot at the weekend.
The Brinkburn Music Festival will serve up classical music and entertainment - from the Gabrieli Consort and Players to Northern Sinfonia - at Brinkburn Priory in Northumberland.
Taking place over two weekends from Friday to July 11, and based in Longframlington on the banks of the Coquet River, the English Heritage-managed priory provides the perfect setting.
From a programme of concerts to educational workshops, the festival offers an opportunity to enjoy some of the world's finest classical musicians in intimate and informal surroundings.
This year's event also includes performances by internationally-acclaimed ensembles, Sinfonye, which will open the festival on Friday, and the Lindsays quartet which will be making one of their last appearances in the North-East, before they retire next year.
