SOUNDS from the past will fill the air at one of the region's biggest tourist attractions this weekend.
A festival of traditional music and dance takes place at Beamish Museum, near Chester-le-Street, County Durham, on Sunday.
There will be ragtime from the Rae Brothers Band and clog dancing by the Wilkinson School of Dance.
Folk artists the Flying Toads and Johnny Handle perform in the Colliery Village and Felling Methodist Choir will be singing hymns in the chapel.
Northumbrian piper Dave Shaw plays in Pockerley Manor and there will be American old time music and dance in the railway station.
North-East performers Benny Graham and Chuck Fleming will sing folk songs in the Sun Inn, while Five Rivers Brass Band plays in the bandstand.
There will also be Irish dancers and a ceilidh.
The event is sponsored by the North Eastern and Cumbrian Co-op, to mark International Co-op Day.
