AN artist who takes inspiration from nature has established her own business.
Min Lynn, who recently left the University of Sunderland as a fine arts graduate at the age of 49, was helped in her venture by national business start-up organisation InBiz, via the New Deal 25+ programme.
Her first solo exhibition will be on show from Monday, July 12 to Saturday, July 31, in the Cluny Gallery, Ouseburn, Newcastle. It will include a mix of photography and bronze sculptures.
"I was artistic from being a child and always wanted to study art, but until fairly recently there was not an ideal opportunity. I just knew it was in me," said Ms Lynn.
"I got some very useful pointers from InBiz about running my own business, and now I feel much more confident about the future, which I know will be both challenging and exciting."
