Foster's Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League Under 15s: Swalwell dismissed Greenside for only 30 who then conceded six wickets before reaching the low target.
Joe Wright captured three wickets conceding just one run in nine deliveries, Chris Todd also took three wickets for 16 runs in five overs and Casey had two for eight, also in five overs when Greenside struggled for runs.
Swalwell too found it difficult at the wicket and only secured victory after losing six of their wickets four to Glen Scott for just 12 runs in five overs.
Foster's Tyneside Senior League Under 18s
Richard Smith and Joseph Docherty were both outstanding when Ryton defeated Shotley by five wickets. When the visitors batted first, they totalled 90 for six in 20 overs as Smith claimed four wickets for a mere 17 runs.
In response, Ryton won comfortably as Docherty ended unbeaten with 47 with one six and two boundaries. Andrew Stokoe was the most successful bowler in the Shotley Bridge attack returning two for 19 from five overs.
Crookhall romped to 156 for six at home to Greenside and won by 66 runs.
Daniel Stewart was just seven runs short of a century hitting no fewer than four sixes and ten boundaries in 93 and Michael Thompson added 24 with one six and two fours to the home side's total. Scott, who had two wickets for 37 runs, was the most successful bowler for Greenside who were restricted to 90 for five when they replied.
Most of the runs came from Daniel Lintern with 32 and Scott (29), Glen Fletcher took two of the five wickets to fall for just seven runs.
Burnopfield overtook the Blaydon total of 81 for four with seven wickets remaining as Young top scored with 46. Chris Maughan contributed 26 for Blaydon and in the Burnopfield attack Marcus Peart captured three of the four wickets to go down for only 19 runs.
Graeme Halliday and Kevin Dixon steered Lanchester to the formidable total of 133 without loss at Swalwell who managed 100 for six in reply and man of the match Halliday claimed six wickets for a meagre 15 runs.
Earlier, Halliday ended unbeaten on 71 and Dixon was 54 not out.
