THREE school dinner supervisors were treated to lunch to reward their long service.
Catering company Scolarest, which feeds County Durham's pupils, took Margaret Horseman, assistant cook at Fyndoune Community College, Sacriston, Carol Hinks, unit manager at Woodham Burn Junior, Newton Aycliffe, and Margaret Paul, unit manager at Easington Primary School to lunch at Bistro 21, Aykley Heads, Durham City, to celebrate their landmark.
They were also presented with a bouquet of flowers, a certificate of service and a 25-year pin brooch.
A fourth supervisor who has completed 25 years' service, Julie Hutchfield, who works at Chilton Primary School, was unable to attend the meal, but was presented with the gifts separately.
Terry Tyson, Scolarest senior operations manager, said: "It was lovely to be able to treat them to lunch for a change and to show them how much we think of them."
