A DIRECTORY of services for pensioners in Durham and Chester-le-Street has been published.
The guide contains details of all the services that older people in the area may need.
It has been produced and funded by the Durham and Chester-le-Street Primary Care Trust (PCT), Durham County Age Concern, Dur-ham County Council, Dur-ham City Council and Ches-ter-le-Street District Council, working with a group of older people.
Denise Elliott, PCT project co-ordinator for integration and immediate care, said: "This new directory will enable them to easily access all of these important services that are available to them, whether it be warden schemes, chiropody or equipment to help with their independent living.
"The aim of the directory is to help strengthen communications between organisations and the elderly who live alone."
Copies are available from the Durham branch of Age Concern in Atherton Street.
