CHILDREN performed 50 years of pop music to celebrate the 50th birthday of their school's opening.
The grandchildren of the founder of Harry Dack Infant School attended the event at the Loftus school where staff and pupils dressed up for the concert. Performances included Rock around the Clock, Yellow Submarine, Crocodile Rock, the Birdie Song, rave music from the Nineties and this year's Come on England. Local folk singer Vin Garbutt opened the event and sang a song.
