Well, it's half time in the league, everyone has now played everyone for the first time and last year's winners of the League, Oak Lodge had the night off and are still four points clear and seem to be having the same type of form that Arsenal had in the premier league, that being they are unbeaten to date, but you never know what is round the corner.
Urlay Nook rose one place to second place with the highest score of the night 177 to 160 over Hardwick Hall. Top shot on the evening was a near perfect performance by Urlay Nook's Paul Dowson with 24.
Thimbleby moved up from fourth to third with a close 169 to 164 home win over Fox Hall. Ray Spence (Thimbleby) and Kenny Cooper (Fox Hall) were high guns with 24's.
Stokesley slumped to their second away defeat of the season, this time at Great Smeaton. Paul Foster scored another 25 for Great Smeaton. The final scores were 172 to 157. Spennymoor continued their impressive unbeaten home record with a 168 to 135 win over Marne CC. Ian Mullarkey scored a perfect 25 for the Moors.
