TALENTED young sportsmen and women have had their achievements recognised at Richmondshire's Local Sports Council Junior Sports Awards.
The ceremony was held at Risedale Community College at Hipswell.
The presentations featured individual sports categories for under-11s, under-14s, under-16s and under-19s, as well as team and coaching awards.
The team of the year award went to the Richmond Town Football Club under-14s.
They remained unbeaten all season in the Teesside Alliance, scoring 102 goals in just 18 games.
Other winners included Rachael Hemsley, who received the Malcolm Rogerson Cup for best all-round sportsperson, and Keith Atwood, of Richmond Dales ASC, who was named as the district's coach of the year.
The Noel Heaton Memorial Trophy for service to sport was presented to David Allinson, of Richmond Motor Club, a member of the club's committee for 48 years.
