STUDENTS raced against time in an effort to stage a show in the space of 24 hours.
With help from with staff at Northallerton College, they competed against the clock to put on a whirlwind musical production with professional instrumentalists.
They gave themselves a full day to prepare, rehearse and mount the production yesterday.
Leading the project were two former students - Paul Phillips, the producer-designer, and Mark Place, arranger and musical director, who co-opted dance and drama teacher Pam Bayston on to the team.
Together with a group of six professional musicians and a dozen students of all ages, they put on a show based on the classic musical Little Shop of Horrors
