Sylvia Stoneham, fundraiser for the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland, said: "We have had several teams escape to foreign parts in the past.
"And we are encouraging teams to aim for the prize awarded to the team that reaches the most appropriate destination. We want to see if anyone can get to Colditz, Alcatraz or San Quentin."
Anyone who has what it takes to escape to far-flung destinations without paying for transport can contact Mrs Stoneham on (01388) 603003 or (01642) 624231 for an escape pack
