The Durham Alliance League have lost five clubs from the end of last season and have gained four new clubs for the 2004-05 season.
League Champions, Coxhoe Athletic have joined the Wearside League, Durham University have gone to play in the University League, Durham Victoria Bridge have decided to play their football on Sunday's, Seaham Mallard have amalgamated with Seaham Town and Gateshead A have had to resign due to lack of funds.
The new clubs joining the league are, Ferryhill Town FC, from the Darlington and District League, Wheatly Hill WMC the winners of last season's Durham Minor Cup and played in the Reg Vardy, Hetton CIU League, Hartlepool Saxon FC a new club and Sunderland North another new club who will play their fixtures on Albany Park, Washington.
Clubs attending the league's fixture meeting held in the Albany Sports and Social Cub, Albany Village Washington at 7pm on the 20th July are.

Consett Sunday League
THE league decided at is annual meeting to increase the number of clubs competing next season to 42 teams as it will once again operate with three divisions.
Seven new clubs have joined and will all become part of the 16 strong Third Division. The new teams are: Burnopfield Cricket Club, Stateside Sports Bar, Jolly Drovers, Leadgate Coach & Horses, Lanchester Cricket Club, Stanley Board Inn and Witton Gilbert WMC.
The First Division will operate with 12 teams and a total of 14 will compete for the Division Two championship.
Several teams have changed their names. Stateside Sports are now known as the Steel Club while the previous Steel Club will operate as AK Leisure. Still with First Division sides and Lanchester Social have switched their village allegiance and will now be known as Lanchester Black Bull.
Relegated Annfield Plain Cricket Club will play next season in Division Two as Annfield Plain Forsters Lodge while in Division Three, Croniwell have changed to Ebchester Chelmsford.
Whitby Town
THE Club are holding its successful annual competition on July 25. Numbers of teams are strictlylimited to 16 in each group. To see if there are any vacancies ring Graham Manser on (01947) 605921.
The Mick Skinner Memorial Trophy used to be played between Whitby and South Bank in memory of Mick Skinner who played for both teams and died at an early age. South Bank are now defunct but it has been resurrected and will be played between Gretna and Whitby on July 24. Kick-off 3pm.
Wheatley Hill Rockets
THE Wheatley Hill Rockets are on the look out for new players ahead of the new season.
The club need players who are aged ten and are keen to improve their footballing ability.
