JG Taxis League: Ushaw Moor Catholic Club moved eight points clear at the top of the darts section after they only dropped one point on their visit to Willington Burn. The home side's lone score came from Micky Lee whilst Robert Milburrn, Kevin Ryans, Stephen Patterson and Barry Messer won fort the visitors. Hunwick Quarry are second in the section, two points ahead of Willington Black Horse Tavern.
Willington Cottles moved up to share the top spot in the dominoes section with the Ushaw Moor side after they won the decider at Willington Black Horse Tavern. Cottles went two up with wins from Phil Blyth and Brett Fleming but John Bolam and Barry Ashurst levelled. In the decider Cottles, Jimmy Wilson beat Alan Ashurst. Hunwick Quarry only trail the joint leaders by one point.
Crook King's Head pool team beat their hosts at Willington Brewer's Droop B by five points to make it a run of three wins from their last four matches after a poor opening to the league. The Brewer's points came with two from Michael Hankey and one from Tim Fleming. The King's went to victory with two points for Ronnie Hope and one each from Andrew Mains, Paul Croskery, Andrew Fleming, John Roberts and John Ferens.
Ushaw Moor Catholic Club lead the pool section by six points from Willington Cottles, who are 13 points ahead of Willington Brewer's Droop A.

Willington Ladies League
The League Annual Presentation Evening was held in Willington Club with the Willington Club B team taking the majority of the trophies. They took the Overall trophy for Darts and Dominoes with Willington Market as the runners-up.
Willington Club B also won the darts overall trophy with Sunnybrow Brown Trout the runners-up. Willington Cottles B landed their first ever trophy when they were successful in the over all dominoes with Willington Burn as the runners-up. The Team Singles darts trophy and the Team Doubles trophy were both won by Willington Club B with Willington Club A the runners-up in the singles and Sunnybrow Brown Trout in the doubles.
The League's Annual General Meeting will be held at the Prospect Club on Thursday, 15 July at 8.00 p.m. All teams interested in playing during next season must be represented at the meeting.
Darlington and District CIU League
THE League are holding our presentation evening on Thursday July 15 at Central WMC.
