AS the long summer holidays approach youngsters across the Hambleton area are being promised plenty to keep them busy.
Leisure centres are planning a series of Hyper Holiday activities in Northallerton, Stokesley, Thirsk, Bedale and Easingwold. Everything from sailing and surfing; rock climbing and trampolining; to arts and crafts, creepy crawlies and a local version of TV's Hell's Kitchen are on offer to entertain children over the long break.
"This year's Hyper Holiday programme has something for everyone," said Hambleton's cabinet spokesman on health, Neville Huxtable.
