DANCERS, aged from three to 70, are celebrating after successfully completing exams.
Forty-two pupils from the Premier Dance School, which holds classes for adults and children in east Cleveland, took part in the exams in ballet, tap, modern, character, national, singing and song and dance.
All the younger pupils, taking the United Kingdom Alliance of Professional Teachers of Dance Uni-Ted awards, received Highly Commended, the highest mark possible.
The older pupils, who took medal awards, all received honours or highly commended.
Teacher Cheryl Linton said: "We are very proud of our pupils' achievements.
"But we have no time to rest on our laurels as we have to prepare for another exam session with the British Association of Teachers of Dance on July 26."
The Premier Dance School holds tap classes on Mondays from 4.30pm to 8pm and ballet classes on Thursdays from 4pm to 7.30pm.
Pupils are taken from three years upwards, including adults at all levels.
All classes are £2 and are at the United Reformed Church, Station Road, Redcar. Anyone interested in joining, is invited to call (01642) 471407
