THREE council employees have been honoured for outstanding contributions at work.
Electoral services officer Sandra Hullah, public amenities attendant Harry Chilton and sampling officer Carl Little all work for Richmondshire District Council.
They were presented with Excellence in Performance awards at Swale House, Richmond.
Ms Hullah was recognised for her organisation of the postal ballot process for the recent European elections.
Mr Chilton was acknowledged for his efforts over the Spring Bank Holiday when he took on extra duties to cover for the absence of colleagues.
Ms Little was awarded her certificate for her work over a Bank Holiday where she gave up her day off to assist wardens fix car park machines - saving the council a total of £1,000 in potential lost revenue.
The three received a certificate from the council chairman, Councillor Raymond Alderson.
