LIFE in the days of the Tudors was re-enacted as part of a children's project.
Pupils aged seven to nine dressed up in home-made Tudor costumes.
The children also crafted bows and arrows and candles as part of an end-of-term history day.
Youngsters at Myton Park Primary School, in Ingleby Barwick, near Stockton, enjoyed knitting and all the children made Tudor-style vegetable stew for lunch.
Their headteacher, Dorothy Begley, said: "They've been so inventive and I'm really proud of them. The idea was to enrich the school curriculum by bringing history to life and all the children have really enjoyed it."
