FREE sports and art activities are available to Durham youngsters during the summer holidays.
Durham City Council is running its Fun 4 Free programme at leisure centres throughout the district.
Deborah Holmes, senior leisure development officer, said: "We have all the regular activities on during the summer, but this year we are looking to add to the youngsters' experiences."
She said that included Streetdance, under the leadership of the Gala Theatre Stage School, and a workshop for budding DJs.
Places are limited and application forms can be collected from sports centres and the city's baths.
Fun 4 Free will be at Coxhoe, from July 19 to 23; Meadowfield, from July 26 to 30; Sherburn, from August 2 to 6; Abbey, from August 9 to 13; and Deerness, from August 16 to 20.
