WOULD-BE racing drivers are being given the chance to show what they can do in a competition.
The event at Teesside Autodrome, South Bank, Middlesbrough, which is open to anyone, offers the winning driver a season in the 2005 British Racing Drivers Single Seater Championship.
Also included in the prize is a Mini Cooper or BMW road car for the year, a three-year management contract and an F3 test.
Teesside Autodrome operator Bob Pope said: "I doubt there's a better prize in any sport, never mind just motorsport.
"To have the opportunity to race in a top championship, to be part of a championship winning team and to get help and advice from champion racing drivers like Tim Sugden, is the stuff dreams are made of.''
Entry into round one, at the beginning of August, costs £223.25, which will allow drivers to get behind the wheel of a race-prepared Renault Clio training car.
All qualifiers will be invited back to successive rounds based on their ability and, after that, the top 50 drivers will be asked to attend two pre-finals, before the winner is chosen from the best ten drivers in the final.
The winner will go on to complete an Association of Racing Drivers School course to gain a race licence, before starting a test programme with Tim Sugden Motorsport.
