POPULAR teenage band McFly have announced a North-East date on their national tour.
The trio will play Newcastle City Hall on Thursday, September 30.
Veteran rockers Whitesnake have added a second date in Newcastle, after their October 8 gig at the City Hall sold out.
The group will also perform at the venue on Friday, October 29.
City Hall manager, Peter Brennan said: "It is always exciting to see new acts taking to the stage of the City Hall, but that doesn't mean we aren't pleased to see old favourites returning.
"Many generations of rock bands have played here over the years and, as these latest bookings show, it looks like the City Hall is set to continue as the region's premier venue for this kind of act."
Tickets for McFly are £20 and go on sale tomorrow.
Tickets for Whitesnake in October are £27.50 and were available from yesterday.
