Under-15s: Annfield Plain had eight wickets in hand defeating Blaydon who they bowled out for just 41 when Kevin Gohery claimed three wickets for ten runs in four overs.
Craig Johnson took three for six from the 3.4 overs he delivered and Michael Allen had two for six in five overs. Replying to the modest target, Annfield Plain lost two wickets as Graeme Brinton ended unbeaten on 18.
Swalwell managed only 45 for nine and lost by seven wickets to Crookhall. Scott Burnham claimed four wickets for only 13 runs in 4.3 overs, Ian Marsland had three for five from five overs and Paul Greenwell also delivered five overs conceding just six runs for two wickets.
Responding, Crookhall were rarely troubled and Daniel O'Sullivan top scored with 21 with one six and two boundaries out of a total of 50 for three.
Under-18s
Sacriston overtook the Ryton total of 67 with seven wickets remaining thanks to a man of the match performance by Martin Hubber. When Ryton batted first they were all out in 19.4 overs for 67 which included 24 by Lewis Barr. Hubber claimed two wickets for just 16 runs in five overs and Laws had three for eight from the 4.4 overs he sent down.
When they went to the wicket Sacriston had Hubber in top form with the bat and he struck five boundaries in an unbeaten 38. Philip Bates conceded just eight runs in five overs taking two wickets but Sacriston won posting a total of 68 for three.
Annfield Plain were all out for just 22 at Lanchester for whom Michael Quinn claimed four wickets for 12 runs in five overs and Stuart McPhail returned two for eight in five overs. Annfield Plain then hurried to a nine wickets victory.
