SHOP staff were inspired to raise money for charity by a colleague's struggle with multiple sclerosis (MS).
Pauline Harnden, who works at Boots, in Northgate, Darlington, has had the condition for ten years. Despite her problems, she remains cheerful and is described by her workmates as a "super person".
Staff at Boots took part in sponsored slims and raffles and Ms Harnden baked cakes for her colleagues to buy. Their efforts raised £700 for the Darlington and District MS Society.
