TWO graduates from a North-East university who teamed up to launch a ladieswear fashion house will be showing their first collections at London Fashion Week in September.
Kelly Clark and David Robinson have received support from Northumbria University's enterprise scheme to set up their venture, Kelly Clark.
The Going for Enterprise scheme works with students and recent graduates to help ensure their business ideas are successful and can provide funding and office space for start-ups.
The business partners will be showing their Spring and Summer 2005 collection at the Metropolitan Hotel, in London.
Their Autumn and Winter 2004 collection is being sold at a Notting Hill boutique.
Mr Robinson said: "It's nice to know that although we have graduated, we can still turn to the university for advice and support. We also have a placement student working with us from the design school so we are giving a little bit back to the university and helping current students get an insight into how the business really works."
