Under-15s: Evenwood enjoyed a ten wickets romp at home to Mainsforth after restricting their opponents to only 50 for six in the 20 overs.

Gary Close bowled five overs taking two wickets for eight runs and Lee Foster returned two for 18, also from a five over spell.

In reply, Foster led the Evenwood innings ending unbeaten on 24 with three boundaries and his opening partner Ryan Nicholson contributed 18 not out.

Tudhoe had 18 runs to spare at home to Shildon. When they made first use of the wicket Tudhoe were all out in 19.1 overs for 86 which included no fewer than 21 extras. James Fawcett top scored with 20 finding the boundary line on two occasions and for Shildon, Roberts returned the excellent analysis of four for 19 in five overs.

Replying, Shildon batted 17 overs before losing their last wicket for a total of 68. Lucas Jackson retained three for 18, Ross Hodgson three for 21, Daniel Petts two for 12 and Will Cleaver two for 14 in the Tudhoe attack.

Langley Park just had the edge on Brandon winning by three runs. Hyles hit a couple of sixes and one boundary in an unbeaten 22 when Langley Park totalled 88 for four and when they went into bat Brandon finished with 85 for four. Jamie Robinson hit a couple of fours in 22 and Thomas Curry ended unbeaten on 20, also with two boundaries. John Morallee claimed two of the four wickets to fall for 28 runs in five overs.

Despite making a useful 110 for four, Crook Town suffered a ten wickets defeat at home to Washington. Sayers ended with 43 not out which included one six and five boundaries and Hooper had two sixes and five fours in an undefeated 42 as the pair out together an unbroken first wicket partnership of 112 for Washington.

Nick Dalton top scored with 43, including three boundaries and Craig Westgarth contributed 35 not out for the Crook Town total.

Runs were a lot less plentiful at Etherley who managed only 30 and went down by nine wickets to Bishop Auckland for whom Cowling captured five wickets for a meagre four runs in five overs, two of which were maidens and Atkinson took three for three from four overs.

Under-18s

The weather played havoc with the programme. All games in the South Division were washed out without a ball being bowled and in the North section only one match went ahead.

Esh Winning managed to stage their fixture with Kimbleworth and were rewarded with a seven wickets victory despite the visitors making the useful total of 110 for three which included 78 not out by Andrew Bishop.

When they went into bat Esh Winning were well served by Paul Shaw (32no) Jonathan Rochforth with 26 and Danielle Hazel who contributed 24 to the match winning total of 112 for four.
