Richmond Amateur Dramatic Society is celebrating its 70th anniversary with a production of a famous satirical comedy.
The Beggar's Opera, by John Gay, is a period romp with music.
It is set in 1728 in the world of highwaymen and gin-swilling prostitutes.
The play will be performed in the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, from Wednesday, July 28 to Saturday, July 31, and again from Wednesday, August 4 to Saturday, August 7.
Performances will be held at 7.30pm.
