A NORTH-EAST company has celebrated the busiest June in its 23-year history with 80 add itional people placed in contracts abroad.
The Stockton-based Wolviston Group management agency has an £8m annual contract with the Shell oil company.
Details of the contract had, until recently, been kept under wraps because of a confidentiality agreement.
Robin Davison, managing director of the group, which has a £19m turnover and 22,000 people on its database of workers, said: "We have people throughout the world."
They included people in the Americas, Eastern Pacific, Europe, Africa, Asia, Nigeria, Korea, Libya, Egypt and Sakhalin Island, thirty miles north of Japan.
Mr Davison added: "We also have men on standby waiting for new contracts to be confirmed and clearances to be given."
The group includes Wolviston Management and Wolviston Corporate Services.
Its core business is as a supplier, consultant and specialist contractor for major national and international oil and gas companies.
