A Darlington primary school is celebrating after winning an award for its sports provision.
Beaumont Hill Primary School and Technology College, in Darlington, is among 440 schools nationally to be recognised in the latest round of Sportsmark awards.
Sportsmark celebrates efforts by schools to give pupils the opportunity to be active and enjoy sport in innovative ways.
Beaumont Hill School has provided a number of opportunities in sport, including its recent participation in the Tees Valley Partnership Youth games, whichwere held at at Acklam Sports Centre, in Middlesbrough.
The school's netball and football teams joined nearly 2,000 other competitors from across the Tees Valley.
At the end of the competition, the netball team was awarded the Fair Play award.
