POLICE are waiting for test results to establish the cause of death after a man's body was found on a farm.
The body was found under a hedge at Rudlington Farm, at Plumpton Rocks, between Harrogate and Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, on Friday afternoon.
Investigations are still under way to establish the man's identity.
The body was discovered by a worker on the farm who phoned tenant farmer Mike Reynolds to report the find.
Mr Reynolds said: "I went up and had a look and it was in the bottom of a hedge.
"Obviously, it's a shock when you find a body. It's not something that happens every day."
A post-mortem examination was carried out by a Home Office pathologist on Saturday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "No cause of death has yet been established and we await the results of further tests.
"No injuries consistent with foul play were apparent.
"Further tests are also being made to establish the man's identity."
Police have declined to comment on whether or not there is a link between the find and the disappearance of Harrogate man Kevin Cahill.
Mr Cahill, from Starbeck in the town, has been missing since June 22.
He suffered from epilepsy and was said to be also suffering from depression.
